Tracking time works as an online
web-based application, you can view and track from anywhere at anytime. It's simple: create a project, create the tasks for that project and start analyzing!

1: Set up your company
In your company panel you will be able to create your customers and team, of course if you are a freelancer your user will be already created. That should be enough. But, if you want to take it to the next level you can also set up your team skills and projects types. That will allow you to analyze further how you or your company performs.

2: Add a project
For you to get the most out of the time management system, it allows you to define several attributes: project category, estimated hours, as well as starting and delivery dates.

3: Assign tasks
Once you have created a project, you can assign tasks. Just add a title, select a user and it's ready to go. There are other attributes that we recommend you to have in mind. Do you want to know if a task is taking more time than what you estimated? add the estimated time. You want to know which are the skills more used on your company just assign an skill to that task.

4: Download the desktop widget
This lightweight desktop app will show you all assigned tasks, and with one click you will start login time to the selected task. Is like a realtime agenda. It will let you know if you are running out of time, or if you are spending more of what you had estimated at the begining.

5: Start analyzing
After a week of using Tracking Time you'll start seeing the results. Believe us: it gets always better as days of tracked work pass by. Actually, the application shows its real potential after you have finished some tracked projects. If you're a control freak, you can go at any time to the dashboard and see in what is everybody working on in that exact moment. Remember: Tracking Time is not meant to be a controlling tool,is just an application to make you think wiselly on how you are running your
business.

The software consists of two components: an administration website that allows you to set up your company’s tasks, projects and users. And a lightweight desktop widget where you or your team log time in realtime. This widget can be installed in as many computers that you want just like skype, msn or google talk.
